Preparation Steps
- Preheat the air fryer to 400F.
- In a shallow dish, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined.
- In another dish, combine Parmesan and panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip into eggs, and finally coat with Parmesan-panko mixture.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the chicken breasts inside. Spray the tops with more cooking spray.
- Cook in the air fryer for 6 minutes, flip, then cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165F.
- Remove the chicken and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with extra Parmesan and lemon wedges if desired.
