  • 1.5 pounds chicken breasts
  • 12 ounces ziti pasta
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook ziti pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Cook chicken breasts in the skillet until browned and cooked through. Dice into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked ziti, chicken, marinara sauce, ricotta, and half of the mozzarella. Mix well.
  5. Transfer mixture into a baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes on top before baking.
