  • 1 prepared pie crust store-bought pie crust
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 0.33 cup brown sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Glaze
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cream or milk
  • 0.25 teaspoon almond extract or vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Unroll the pie crust on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread softened butter evenly over the crust.
  4. Mix brown sugar with cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the butter layer.
  5. Carefully roll the dough into a log shape, starting from the short end.
  6. Slice the rolled dough into 8 equal pieces.
  7. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced apart.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Mix powdered sugar with cream and vanilla or almond extract to make glaze.
  10. Drizzle glaze over warm cinnamon rolls before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven with a glass of milk or coffee.
