Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9-inch cake pan with parchment paper and grease the sides.
- Cream together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until well incorporated.
- Stir in oats, M&Ms, and chocolate chips.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 16 minutes or until edges are golden. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
- Decorate with frosting if desired or serve as is.
