Preparation Steps
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool.
  2. Peel the hardboiled eggs and chop the whites. Mash the yolks in a bowl and mix with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, garlic, salt, paprika, and cayenne to make the dressing.
  3. Combine the cooked pasta with the egg dressing, add chopped egg whites, red onion, green onions, and crumbled bacon if using. Mix well and serve immediately or refrigerate for later.
