Preparation Steps
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Layer noodles, a portion of cooked beef, ricotta mixture, marinara sauce, and shredded mozzarella. Repeat layers.
- Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, let the lasagna sit for 15 minutes before slicing.
