- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook sliced onion for 3 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and mushrooms; cook until mushrooms are tender.
- Add ground beef and season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil; cook until meat is browned.
- Stir in tomato sauce and cook for 3 minutes.
- Grease a round 8-inch baking dish with butter.
- Spread cream cheese evenly over the bottom of the dish.
- Spread the cooked meat mixture over the cream cheese, then top with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Serve warm with crackers.
