  • 10 pieces Little Debbie vanilla Christmas tree snack cakes
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 20 ounces white chocolate melting wafers
  • 6 ounces red vanilla flavored melting candy wafers
  • 1 tablespoon green sanding sugar sprinkles

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone mat and set aside.
  2. To a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and beat on medium speed, using a handheld mixer, for 1-2 minutes or until fluffy and smooth.
  3. Break the Little Debbie vanilla Christmas tree snack cakes into smaller pieces and add to the bowl of beaten cream cheese. Mix on low speed just until fully combined. The mixture should be relatively smooth.
  4. Using a small cookie scoop, scoop out a 1 tablespoon portion of cake mixture and gently roll into a ball.
  5. Place each cake ball onto one of the prepared baking sheets. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  6. Freeze the cake balls for 30-45 minutes until completely solid.
  7. Melt the white chocolate wafers in a medium bowl according to package directions and stir until smooth.
  8. Melt the red vanilla candy wafers in a small bowl and transfer into a piping bag with the tip cut off.
  9. Coat each cake ball in white chocolate, then dip parts of each ball into the red melted candy for decoration.
  10. Place decorated cake balls on the baking sheet. Pipe zig-zag patterns with white chocolate and sprinkle with green sanding sugar to mimic Christmas trees.
  11. Allow the cake balls to set for 15-20 minutes until the coating is firm before serving.
