  • 8 oz Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp All-purpose Flour

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  5. Mix the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce. Serve hot.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh and hot. You can add breadcrumbs on top for a crispy finish.
