  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1.25 cups room temperature water
  • 0.25 cups olive oil
  • 1 cups shredded cheese of choice

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast until mixed. Stir in water and olive oil until a chunky dough forms. Gently stir in the cheese.
  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a towel and let it rest for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
  3. Preheat oven to 450°F with a Dutch oven inside for 30 minutes. Shape dough into a ball on a floured surface and place on parchment.
  4. Gently transfer dough on parchment into the preheated Dutch oven. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove lid and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Break chunks, spread with butter, and serve.

This bread is perfect for sharing, and can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days or frozen for longer storage.
