  • 2 cups penne pasta (uncooked)
  • 0.75 cup pepperoni (roughly chopped)
  • 2 cups pre-cooked turkey sausage crumbles
  • 0.5 jar pasta sauce
  • 1.75 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.125 tsp salt
  • 0.125 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large pot, cook pasta in boiling water for 6 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine pasta sauce, tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine. Set aside.
  3. Spray your slow cooker with nonstick spray. Add one cup of the sauce mixture to the bottom, then layer half of the cooked pasta, sprinkle half of the pepperoni and sausage over the pasta. Top with half of the mozzarella cheese, then add 1 cup of sauce mixture.
  4. Repeat layers: remaining pasta, pepperoni, sausage, cheese, and sauce. Finish with remaining cheese on top.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours, or low for 4-5 hours until heated through. Stir the pasta to coat evenly with sauce and cheese.
  6. Spoon into bowls and enjoy!
