  • 3.5 cups homemade pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup apple cider
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cinnamon sticks cinnamon sticks
  • 1.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Combine pureed pumpkin, vanilla, apple cider, spices, cinnamon sticks, and sugar in a large saucepan; stir well.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes or until thickened. Stir frequently.
  3. Adjust spices to your taste and store in sterilized jars.

Notes

Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
