  • 1.5 cups red wine
  • 0.5 cup brandy
  • 0.25 cup orange liqueur
  • 1 orange orange, sliced seedless if possible
  • 1 lemon lemon, sliced
  • 1 apple apple, chopped
  • 0.25 cup simple syrup adjust sweetness to taste
  • 2 cups club soda added before serving

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Combine red wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and simple syrup in a large pitcher.
  2. Add sliced orange, lemon, and chopped apple to the pitcher.
  3. Stir the mixture well and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Just before serving, add club soda to the sangria and stir gently.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with additional fruit slices if desired.

Notes

Use a fruity, dry red wine like Tempranillo or Garnacha for best results. Adjust sweetness with simple syrup as preferred.
