Preparation Steps
- Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, chili sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, and sesame oil in a medium bowl to make the sauce. Set aside.
- Pat the chicken dry and set aside.
- Beat eggs in a medium bowl.
- Mix cornstarch, flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a large bowl.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet to 350°F.
- Dip chicken pieces into eggs, then dredge in the flour mixture, coating thoroughly.
- Fry chicken in the hot oil until golden and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
- Pour the prepared sauce into the skillet and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Add fried chicken back into the skillet and toss to coat.

Serve hot over steamed rice with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
