Preparation Steps
- Season chicken breast with taco seasoning, making sure to cover both sides.
- Pour about half of the salsa into the bottom of your slow cooker and mix with water. Place chicken on top.
- Pour remaining salsa on top of the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3 hours until chicken is tender and shreddable.
- Shred the cooked chicken using two forks, then mix with the salsa in the slow cooker.
- Serve the shredded chicken in tortillas with desired toppings such as guacamole, cilantro, diced tomatoes, and sour cream.
