Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. Mix in the flour and salt until the dough comes together. Fold in the chopped nuts.
  3. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly golden. Let cookies cool for a few minutes.
  5. While still warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar to coat thoroughly. Place on a wire rack to cool completely and re-roll in powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week. These cookies can be frozen for longer storage.
