  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Preparation Steps
  1. To a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, add water and sugar.
  2. Bring to a boil and stir until all sugar has dissolved (2-3 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
  4. Allow the syrup to cool. Then, place it in an airtight container to store in the refrigerator. This recipe makes about 1.5 cups of vanilla syrup.
